What is Take Your Medicine and Smile?

Founded in 2015-ish, T.Y.M.A.S. is carving a path to cinema's future by supporting and celebrating the new wave of D.I.Y. filmmakers in Los Angeles who are fearlessly shattering cinematic conventions. To that end, we produce and promote underground, experimental and alternative films and create opportunities for these filmmakers to meet each other, support each other and create together. See the weird, wild and beautiful world we've discovered on our youtube page and at the New Film Underground screenings.

We host multiple underground cinema showcases and other events throughout the year in order to bring the New Film Underground to alternative film fans.
