What is Take Your Medicine and Smile?
Founded in 2015-ish, T.Y.M.A.S. has been carving a path to cinema's future by supporting the new wave of alternative filmmakers in Los Angeles. To that end, we produce and promote underground and experimental short films and create opportunities for these filmmakers to meet each other, support each other and create together. See the weird and beautiful world we've discovered on our youtube page and at the New Film Underground screenings.

What is The New Film Underground?:
Each year we host multiple showcases featuring outsider filmmakers who are pointing the way to cinema's future. At these events, underground filmmakers come together with film fans to support each other and experience works that reveal cinema's wild side. These events are called The New Film Underground and all who come can rest assured they will see nothing normal.
